1. How to Cancel Your Event

To cancel your event booking with Karma Events Dubai, please follow these steps:

  1. Send a written cancellation request via WhatsApp or email
  2. Include your booking reference number and event date
  3. Provide a brief reason for cancellation
  4. Receive cancellation confirmation within 24 hours

2. Cancellation Timeline

More than 60 days

Cancellation with minimal charges. 90% of payment credited.

30-60 days

Standard cancellation. 50% of payment credited.

14-29 days

Late cancellation. 25% of payment credited.

Less than 14 days

Non-refundable. Full payment retained.

3. Cancellation Charges

  • Administrative Fee: 10% of booking amount (applies to all cancellations)
  • Vendor Cancellation Fees: Charges incurred from confirmed vendors
  • Non-refundable Deposits: Event planning and design charges
  • Service Fees: Any services already rendered are non-refundable

4. Event Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule instead of cancel:

  • Rescheduling requests must be made in writing
  • New date must be confirmed with all vendors
  • Rescheduling fees may apply (typically 5% of booking)
  • Changes require payment confirmation

5. Company Right to Cancel

Karma Events Dubai reserves the right to cancel bookings in the following circumstances:

  • Payment is not received by agreed deadline
  • Illegal activity or violation of terms of service
  • Venues become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government action)
  • Guest behavior or conduct violations

6. Refund in Case of Company Cancellation

If Karma Events Dubai cancels your event (excluding payment failures), you will receive a full refund minus any non-recoverable vendor charges. For force majeure events, we will offer rescheduling options or store credit.

7. No-Show Policy

If you fail to appear on the scheduled event date without prior cancellation notice:

  • Full payment is retained
  • No refund will be issued
  • Vendor charges remain your responsibility
  • Future bookings may require prepayment

8. Modification vs. Cancellation

Changes to event details (guest count, time, location) are considered modifications, not cancellations. Modification fees may apply based on the nature and timing of changes.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you dispute a cancellation or refund decision:

  1. Contact us within 7 days with supporting documentation
  2. Our team will review within 10 business days
  3. We will respond with a resolution
  4. If unresolved, escalate to management
